Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

PO496 can eat sh*t.

threw evap code this morning. im going to take it to the dealer eventually, just wanted to know if its safe to drive around on it for a while?

i drove with mine on for awhile, i also kept resetting the code and it always blew again, its ur exhaust pressure purge or somthing like that has a =n invalid value.U just will spit carbon under ur car, and when u first start a cold start it may fluctuate and have a problem holding the throttle in the warm up.

i get evap codes all the time and system purg lol but mine is because i have a bov and no maf relocation....

yeah it tries to do the cat warm up but drops down to like 750 for second then its back up to 1500. weird i thought it was because its so cold. oh well lol.

nope its from the real fault the code is telling u,should get it replaced, mine was under warranty when it went. good luck bro

I drove on it for 2 weeks then got the dealer to fix it. just don't fill your tank all the way when you get gas.

i have same symptoms! so was it the purge valve or vent valve?

the purge valve is 22.79 and the vent solenoid is 16.79, i fail to see why this is the end of the world for your car lol
