Alright so today i realize that my cars avg temp is 207, usualy its been around 194-198ish

Ive noticed my car sometimes will get up to 221 on idle at a light? Is that usual?

 

if it gets above 230 i would be worried but it should still not be that high

 

it usualy runs from 194-207 and it varies.

no, that's normal. there's tons of threads from nervous people about the temps, and it's perfectly fine. the temps will go up in heavy traffic, or at idle. but, they will go back down once you start moving again. like stated, as long as they're not getting and staying over 230 then you're fine.

 

did you check the coolant level? there also could be air in the lines. just a few ideas.
