My power steering is gone but no code coming up on the cars computer , I just recently replaced the PCM which isnt reflashed to the car yet and was from a different year but I cant see this effecting the power steering , It worked before I took it to the garage and had them fix the PCM .

I know my rack and Pinion is going bad or BAD , could that in any way effect my power steering ? When turning it feels weird hard to explain but feels like its not turning smooth or something like its kinda jerky .. HAHA like I said hard to explain but any help would be nice ! The power steering is electric in these cars and I think runs off the ECM. That's probably why it doesn't work.
