HI Guy's

I'm having an issue with my Power Steering.
every once in a while the DIC will display and I loose all power to the steering. I still have everything else running fine just loss of the steering.
it seams pretty random sometimes it's after a hard acceleration, sometimes it's just when I'm puttering around.

the only consistant is that it only happens a couple of minutes after I just started the car.
it has never stopped after I've been driving for a while.

I can't seem to find anything. any Ideas?

 

i would take it in asap.. perhaps its just a loose sensor?

 

Probably a loose harness / wire. I would say it's overheating, but that wouldn't happen that soon after a cold start.

 

yah this only happens on a cold start, and even then it's only occasionally.

It's happened twice after spearatide sprint and twice while I was in a parking lot ideling around.

 

can anyone else think of anything

 

theres a tsb on the bcm (body control module) mine was doin the same **** just had it replaced today...
