Power Steering seems lose

Just wondering since my cobalt is at 100,000km if the steering fuild needs replacing? or what could be causing the wheel turning to be really lose at time.
Brakes and pads are almost brand new, so no problem there.

Would make an interesting conversation
Call up Autoparts stores, ask for
Power steering fluid for it
Tell them you also need Antifreeze
for an old VW Bug

he said lose not dead or dying. It amazes me people still dont know there is no fuild res. under the hood. From what ive read and researched, the sway bar end links if bad could give this effect. Although they look fine, they could be bad. Usually pop or clunk on cold morning drives. I got some moog endlinks im waiting to install see if it resolves the looseness... of course, check all the obious.. tie rods, steering rack, etc.

The only fluid that could help with your electrical assist steering would be the acid in the battery.

I had the swaybar links replaced already, my warrenty took care of that problem 4 months ago and I got new control barrings. My brakes also squeel, in the cold mornings, even after I replaced them 6 months ago.
