Preventing Hole in CAI

first off- MODS, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, relocate if needed please.


is there anything i can do to prevent my new Injen Intake from getting a hole rubbed into it?
after only a week, i can see that my intake is rubbing down a little where it goes through the engine compartment into the wheel well place..,

any ideaS?

either use plastic wire loom or split one side of a piece of rubber hose to go around the hole in the fender

i used vacum hose, slipt it in half and put it around the hole

IDEA: can i just like wrap the intake in heat wrap?

I just used basic copper line insulation, it's about an inch thick. i jammed it around the hole. keeps the intake from moving too much, no movement=no holes!
