a quick question
well it has been over 4k miles after my last oil change during my oil life I have installed my s2 which gives excellent performance. In the last couple of days when I go WOT the s2 doesnt feel like when I first got it. Am assuming because of the oil. I need to change it out.
Am I right?
With a quick question as well. With mobil 1 how often do I have to change my oil 3k,4k,5k?

i was told by the dealership that with the mobil 1 synthetic you can go until your oil life indicator goes down to 10%. I usually change mine around 20% and i have never seen power loss from bad oil.
fyi, the oil life indicator on your instrument panel does not actually test the oil. all it does is count engine rpms so if you drive at higher rpms for a longer time, the oil life will drop faster. i usually get about 4,500 miles between changes, which is just fine for synthetic oil under normal driving conditions.

Well being that your down there in laredo I figure its the heat more than anything els. Depending on what you want to do I'd open up the intake more, and look for a cobra heat exchanger to help a little with the cooling.
Changing the oil won't hurt either, check your plugs too and see how much carbon is built up on them.
Oh and slow down for awhile you may also just be getting used the driving fast all the time
