I drive a 2005 cobalt SS/SC manual 2 door . For over a year Ive been having issue with no power steering after my "machanic" fixed my computer , And for some reason changed my fusebox without telling me . Anyways I may have found the problem , In the picture ill post would my car have that big wire to the upper left of the fuse box ?(because mine isnt hook up and i think its hide somewhere )

Yes it should. Although I believe it is for ABS. Either ABS or PS.

Either way, there is a recall on the PS motor. You can get it replaced for free at your local GM dealer if you haven't already.

 

I'm hoping its for power steering haha

 

I'm sure it's tucked back there somewhere behind the fuse block

That wire was for the power steering , After a year or more without I finalllllyyyyyyyyyyyyy have it back ! and Gonna rip the mechanic next time I go by

 

I am never going back to that mechanic should be your thought....
