i dunno, it's hard to say on a running car. i only notice it at idle, if i'm on the gas, i can't hear it... but that just could be the engine is louder.
it's really faint, can't hear it inside of the car. almost sounds like plastic.

if it's coming from the front end of the car it could be your pilot bearing making a noise. try pushing your clutch in and out a couple times and see if it makes and differance. i have a noise as well but it's in the exhaust somewhere. it sounds like when you turn your car off and the exhaust ticks cause it's so hot. mine does it all the time, it's pretty faint though.

this rattle you hear at idle, 9 time out of ten has to do with you pressing the clutch in and making it go away, its more than likely from your throw out bearing, which when it rattles is a sign of high heat, be careful because when this starts to rattle its often used by maaster technicians to diagnose a clutch that is slipping, and although your clutch isnt slipping now it might be on its way, take it easy on the burnouts

Blowers will rattle when they are cold. Nothing new there.
