Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Reduced Engine Mode???

has anyone else experience this probelm... i go full throttle in first gear then Reduced Engine Mode comes on and it shuts the car off i go to restart it and it wont ... just wondering but the gm techs says it sounds like a throttle postiong sensor..

just wondering if it has happen to any of ya

Only time I've had my car shut off is when I was trying to teach my fiancee to drive a stick and she kept revving the **** out of it and I had to beat her with a stick to keep her from dropping the clutch and leaving my tranny all over the parking lot.

After it cut off, yeah, it wouldn't start back up until I took the keys out.. no problems since then.

i had reduced engine power, and it was the TPS. warranty time.
