Have anyone else had the problem when you rev the car it takes an extremely long time for the rpms to go back down. Is that how it's supposed to be or is it just my car

You may think this is an unrelated question, but is your cruise control working?

I had the same problem as you, and it was because of a failed clutch position sensor. It kept the cruise control from working and caused the engine RPMs to hang while shifting.

no my cruise works but my car has always done this i've always found it awkward so i decided to ask 2 years later lol
