RPM flutter, drop out at idle when coming to a stop
I may not be wording this right but couldn't find it with search.
I just had my car at the dealership for an oil change (its too cold out to do it myself) and on the way home, when I was coming to a stop with the clutch in, the rpm's kept dropping out and then bouncing around. It felt like the engine was about to die. I've noticed this a couple of times lately and it's beginning to **** me off. 39K on the car so of course it's out of warranty now so this sucks. I'm not going to do anything about it right now but has anyone else had this happen to them? No mods on the engine.

this happened to me when i first got the car. stopped after they upped the idle RPM slightly. Its a TSB so a reflash will fix it.
it happens more often now with a tune. something about messing with the stock tune affects this...especially when its cold out

I had the same issue with my 07 SS/SC. I have an Injen CAI, I brought it to my local dealership, they reflashed my ecu and problem solved. Didnt say anything about the CAI.

hmmm didn't think about that. i suppose the k&n could be the issue...but it ran fine until it got cold out. anything above 50 was good...anything below 50 is bad. high humidity screws it up too.

Your car is still under the 60,000 mile powertrain warranty and this would be considered part of that.

mine had the same type problem but i have a 2.2 auto.. it turned out to be a bad build up of carbon or something in the tb that wouldn't let the butterfly stay open.. it caused it to stick.. i just cleaned it out with brake cleaner and haven't had any problems since..

yeah if the flash dosent halp the problem CLEAN YOUR TB... 99% of the time its a carbon buildup on the tb. brake cleaner is ok but make sure car is off.. and if ya want to be really safe take off the TB.. which is NOT a big deal. jus remember to torque the bolt to factory spec. and your fine.
sidenotee if you have oil in your intake get a catch can.

mine does this also from time to time. I use nothing but oem parts and I've had all the updates and removed my intake and tb to clean them thoroughly. Still does it. Never dies so I guess I'm not too worried about it. More of a neusance than anything
