RPM Problems??

I got a 2.2 ecotec Ls 109km when I'm going 90 on the highway and drop it down to 4th or 3rd my rpms go to 4000 drop back down to 3500 then they go back up to 6000 or to whenever I shift.. Does this mean my clutch is slipping?

FYI - Either throw a km/h after the 90 or say 55mph... Enough people will be too confused to give you a real answer otherwise. Sad but true.

This site has seen it all. Like someone who put their automatic into neutral on the highway to turn off the cruise control, and then came here asking what was wrong. I'm just trying to save you from anyone coming in and freaking out about that because it's bound to happen.

Going to 6k when you clutch means you didnt let off fully on the gas

also easiest way to tell if the clutch will slip is go in 5th gear and gas to the floor...if rpms jump then its slipping
