does this mean my SC coolant pump is bad, I applied 12v to the pump where the control wire plugs in and the pump doesn't spin. is this the correct way to check for operation. Also does the aftermarket have a pump available cheaper than the GM pump and if so who, where, and what.

Just a quick update, I got it figured out, thanks all

 

The Ford Lightning pump is the same.

You can buy Ford Racing ones on ebay for like $100 shipped.
