shift linkage

is there a how to on fixing the famous problem with the pin making the linkage not work

AFAIK, roll pins are only on F35 transmissions. You're gonna want something strong. McMaster-Carr offers a good replacement. It's located in that thread.
I broke a roll pin from NAPA in like two days.

i actually have a roll pin that is used in a common tranmission repair ffor a caravan trans ... my friend works at a transmission shop and brought me one to fix my problem. has been working for 4 years.

so got it changed and pin is in now my power steering quit working wheres the fuse for that to check it

Yeah, I'm pretty sure. It's a nice Getrag versus our crappy Saab trans.

Probably why it's not working.
its just weird that it quit working after i took out the fuse box

You could reseat the fuse box, if those things on the bottom of it don't make contact, it could screw things up.

tried it a couple times still doesnt work just gonna set up the recall fix

Anyone ever have issues with freezing cables forcing the cables out of position? It will still shift just not properly.
