Sometimes my car will not go into 1st gear and after reading i think it is the sychro (sp?). It only does it sometimes so should i still take it in?

oh and should i try to find a stock cat-back and put it on my car before i take it in or should i not worry about it

 

yes. if anything else it was have a good look over. and its never a bad idea to have a mechanic take a look at something thats not working correctly
