slow spool problem

alright guys, maybe i can get some help from someone on here, i recently put on the zfr a few weeks ago and had it tuned. well out of no where two days ago, it just started taking FOREVER to hit full boost. i remember being told the wastegate rod nuts would back off some times so thats the first thing i checked, nope. still tight and in the same position as when i installed the turbo. all the clamps are nice and tight however one coupler has a crack in it, not all the way through but its still cracked on the outside. not sure if that would be the problem or not, dont think it is since i can still hit full boost, just takes too long. any help would be much appreciated, i just want to see if there are any common problems that im missing. thanks

How late of a spool are we talking here? Also, have you noticed any changes in how the turbo or engine sounds when going WOT?

Yeah if that's the case then I think C_A_D_88 is probably onto something with the wg solenoid. If you have access to hptuners it should be a pretty easy thing to see what's going on with it.

Unfortunately no access to hptuners. I'm trying to get a new coupler asap and see where that leads, if no where then to the solenoid.

Still open to opinions or other problems ppl have come across with the boost problems.
