is it smoking from the engine, or from the exhaust??? cause from under the hood is a bad thing, from the exhaust would be running rich, but i dont know why you would see smoke in between shifts from the exhaust.

Mine smokes a bit too.

I am running rich - av 11.86

I plan to ask about it when I take the car in for this headliner recall.

Maybe an ecm update will help a bit.

Someone runnin a lil too rich..lol...Flames huh?? Damn, remind me not to drive behind you.

Black smoke is the car running rich and bootin out built up carbon. White smoke is burning oil, not good.I believe white is burning oil, either oil or anti-freeze, but pretty sure it's your car burning oil.

Nah, its not that bad. Usually only happens when I hit limiter in second or third. Kinda have to do that on purpose. It does smoke pretty good though. You should have black smoke, thats fuel. White is oil like ^^ he said. Even a stock SS smokes pretty good when at WOT. I do love being able to throw flames out the exhaust though. I keep getting asked if i'm the 'yellow one with nos' when I'm out racing. People for some reason don't believe that i'm not spraying.

If anyone is running rich, it would be me. I'm commanding about a 10.3 a/f ratio but i'm getting about 10.4-10.8 at redline. I'm riach b*atch

Oil burns white smoke, water will be more like steam, white but it will evaporate soon after coming out the exhaust, it will not linger in the air. Black smoke at idle is a serious problem, like a cylinder not firing. You will see some black smoke under throttle, but not idling.
