So it flooded here, and i have a CAI

......and while i was driving into the deep water because i had to get home, my car started to sputter when i would gas it. It threw a CEL and ran like **** for a day. Now the CEL is gone and it runs perfectly. Im thinking and hoping it sucked up a little bit of water not a lot and just got a bad mixture of air and caused my car to run like ass. The water was maybe half way up my wheel when it was flooding. Enough to make it hard for me to drive through. Should i be worried or anything ishould do? Get a new filter??

^^ What he said.

Also, when you see the road is flooded it is better NOT to drive into it. If you do, you definately don't want to give the car any gas. If you don't have enough speed to get through it is better to just turn the car off and get a tow then to suck up water and blow the motor.

...omg so wrong..but right at the same time...DO NO AND I REPEAT DO NOT SHUT YOUR ENGINE OFF WHEN YOUR MUFFLER IS UNDER WATER.....YOU WILL SUCK WATER INTO THE EXHAUST. do not drive your car when its flooded plain and simple..get a boat and row your ass to mcdonalds.
