Some members hearing a clicking noise

Have your lower control arms checked.
took my car to the dealership today to have axles put in but they said it wasnt the axles after they order them and really check out my Balt ss\sc.

The noise happens mostly in 1st to 2nd gear and going in reverse.
they put it on the lift" drive on one" and was able to see the play in the lower control arms making the click\pop noise."bushing suck ass

Ps... just to let you all know the lower control arms are on a national back order.
so this is telling us this is a common problem and should be a recall but GM has not made it one.

WTF GM

I was looking my self on that also.

Have them check out your low control arm, willing to guess that will fix it after all

I was checking out the clicking with a buddy of mine and we noticed that the brake pads were moving up and down when you forwarded and reversed ,making the clicking noise twice each time the pads hit the end of the calipers.
But I will check for the bushing play also and get it to the dealer if thats the case.

I just checked on the lower arms and there is quite a few places that GM has plenty of. They are not on backorder. Here's the numbers that my catalog pulls up and says that is in stock by GM.

15803766 - LH : Lansing, MI facitlity number "076" has 56 of them. It's the only one that is showing up on the locator.

15803767 - RH : Boston, MA facility number "055" has them. I think that's the closest to you.

im surprised you guys dont have aftermarket LCA's already anyway...that would MASSIVELY help your traction and wheel hop issues.
