ok, i have a kind a dumb question, im kinda new to driving a standard, ive been driving one since i got my ss/sc about 3 months ago ( never had any problems). Now for the past 2 weeks i've noticed i cant get my shifts from 1st to 2nd to be very smooth, when i say that it's as if its somewhat difficult to shift from 1st to 2nd. Do you guys think its a driver error or a problem with my clutch or tranny?

 

could be, check your cables under the console...you may have to re-adjust them...you can do this by popping out the cupholder and unsnapping the holders, moving the shifter slightly, then resnapping them... may take some time to get it smooth again...

 

soak that ball on the bottom of your shifter with some lubricant of some kind. that may help.

 

Might need an ajustment,take it to the dealer and let them check it out .
Or get someone else you know thats had a Ss/Sc to try it and see if its you or the car.
