Spark plug gap on a completely stock 2.2?
Spark plug gap on a completely stock 2.2?
I'm changing a friend's plugs today and I'm getting him the ACDelco Iridiums and all of that, which are "pre-gapped." Which, I know with my LNF means "gap them yourself." Do the plugs for his 2.2 need to be gapped too, or can I just throw 'em in? I just don't work on NA stock engines very often
Also, he has 80k miles and totally neglects his car other than oil changes when it tells him, but he wants to catch up on maintenance. When should the ATF be changed on these? I'm assuming he probably needs it. He bought the car about 25k mi ago and it was changed by the dealer.
Thanks!

! Thanks for the reminder!I know they come "pre-gapped" but I put those in my LNF and then my friend took them back out to gap them after he scolded me about it and they were all over the place. Are they suppose to be pre-gapped even for the SS's? I was told they weren't. I have the ACDelco Iridiums in mine this time around too. Last time was the NGK Iridiums, which I hear are the same exact plug anyway.
