SS/SC Acceleration Problems

My problem:

The car loses speed while going up hill, to the point where I cant make it up a hill at highway speeds (65 mph). This isn't a steep hill, I live in Austin, Tx

I cant press the accelerator too hard or it will start losing performance and do the hill problem on relatively level highway.

I cant accelerate from a stop too hard or I run into the same problem.

I've been to three different Chevrolet dealerships trying to figure out what the issue was. The last dealership charged me 600.00 for replacing some vacuum hoses and told me it was fixed, but its not.

I'm low on funds right now and I have no idea what could be causing this.

My car is a 2005 Chevrolet Cobalt SS/SuperCharged with ~107k miles on it. This problem began 2 years ago and has begun getting worse and worse.

I've tried cleaning the throttle body but that didn't help at all. I have no idle problems. I do not misfire, I just lose power as if I'm trying to blow into a balloon that is full already.

ive seen and fixed issues where the gas pedal assembly loses communication with the throttle body assembly and can cause this as well

Yeah, it was pretty bad, I had to have my car towed to the dealership. The dealership did something to my boost gauge and it hasn't worked since, but I never had time to go back since I'm working and in school.

my car would start bogging at around 80 or so and i figured it was some type of restriction. turns out intake was being crushed in the part where it goes down to the fender...damn the dealership owned you man....

as said see what your boost is reading first, if its excessive assume its the cat. The tech2 scanner at the dealer can verify if the pedal sensor is synced with the throttle body and for as much as they raped u for i hope they did that. Typically youll set a CEL for both the cat and the issue i described though. Ive even seen the cars go into limp mode because of both

Yes they all have been replaced, no clutch slippage. I'm searching for a way to hook my boost gauge back up. If anyone has a link, it would be greatly appreciated.

I'm not new to modding cars. I had a t-28 on my 2003 Lancer O-Z Rally with intercooler, full coil overs, and a bunch of other stuff, I just chose not to do anything to this car.

But alas, I've gone to meineke and it is my cat. I now need to look for a replacement aftermarket piece as the stock piece is $900.00

Thanks everyone for the help in diagnosing my problem.

I spoke with the Chevrolet dealership and they said they'd replace it up to 120k miles if that was the problem. I go to see them at 11 am tomorrow.
