ok this the deal i got a stage two cobalt and i want to change out the pulley and get more boost from the supercharger i got the new pulley from cobalt addiction but i never seen thies balts on the old pulley before on any other cobalt any one have an idea what it is so i can change it thanks

 

You should have gotten two bits to use for those bolts with your Stage 2 kit.

 

Its a tool that is included in the stage two kit. The tool name is MT-2, and it is a weird phillips head/torx head design. DO NOT USE SOMETHING OTHER THAN THE MT-2 or you can strip the heads out. You should have received it with the stage two kit, if you dont have it i would talk to your dealer that did the install to see if you can aquire the tool.

 

Thanks for the help SS but I bought the car with the stage two kit it was there show room car but thier beeing a hole and not giving me the tool

 

That sucks they should have given you the bit. Either way you should call Tom at Crate Engine Depot (1-800-441-5150) and ask him if he can get one for you. If he can't you should go to a dealership and have them order you one.

 

Good News i got it i had to bitch out the tech so he got so pist off he went to his tool box and handed it to me YES tomorrow the big day thansk for all your help
