Stage2 limp mode

I have an stock 08 with the dealer stage 1 and it goes into limp mode really easy. If I gas it through a couple of gears, bam, limp mode. No check engine light or codes that I know of I just turn off the key and back to normal. How much abuse should this thing take before it goes to limp? What kind of boost should I get with the stage1?
The stage1 was not cheap!

Can the dealer do anything about it? I doubt I could even do a 1/4 mi pass. Why would they have no lift shift for racing if it goes right into limp mode?

I've got a tuned ecu yet i was not getting enough boost. I wanted to go back to stock to see if I could diagnose a problem.

well then you might just have to take it to a dealer or back to your tuner

had a problem with limp mode. i was getting a bunch of codes though. i personally wouldn't recommend wasting your money going to GM when it costs $80 just to scan your car. There was a recall on the PCMs being bad. Mine was replaced and retuned and it corrected my problem.

I went into limp mode after long periods of driving. The problem eventually got worse and my car wouldn't start at all. BTW, I was Stage 2...went back to stock and haven't experienced a problem since.
