Steering Wheel Wobble/Vibration

Hey guys so I'm stumped. I warped a rotor due to a few loose lugs that caused vibration and I thought it just needed a balance but then I checked the lugs and they were loose and my pads were almost shot and the warped rotor accelerated the replacement process etc. I ended up replacing both front rotors and pads on my 09 SS. Now with the new brake parts on I'm getting a steering vibration when coasting not so much under power or during braking. The brake parts I put on as replacement were slightly used. So is it possible I might need to turn those rotors? I torqued all my lugs and even put my original oem lugs back on to see if the aftermarket ones made a difference but not much of a change if any. I could really any input here guys thanks.

Dunno ... check the front wheels and rims. This winter and all those pot holes wasted many tires and rims. Sounds like you ruled out the brake rotors.

Maybe a bent wheel?

It could be out of balance possibly, or alignment. those are more things i just thought of. Been i had new tires mounted in January and the wheels were balanced and aligned there.

Does anybody know if replacing the rotors etc. would mess with the alignment? Because even though the pads and rotors were shot before on the old ones it still didnt wobble or vibrate

I might rotate my rears to the front to see if that stops it. At least that way i would know if its something with the rims

So, put on enough miles with crappy studs to ruin your brake components... so my guess would be you are going to see some bushing fail soon if not already showing signs.(wobble you described) andddddd, your tires are going to have been worn a little funky so that can make **** shake too..

Almost positive it's being cause by a seizing caliper piston

I solved it! Sorry it took so long but with work etc I finally got to it today. I replaced my front passenger wheel hub assembly and I rebuilt my Brembo caliper on that same side. Took care of the problem! I highly recommend to anyone that has a seizing Brembo to just but the rebuild kit from CED and do it yourself it's way cheaper and not very hard to do. Minimal tools and an air compressor. Cost me about 80 bucks versus 300 ish for a caliper
