Sterring column

I recently took my car in for a noise that occured every bump. I took it in for service and they ended up replacing the steering column. They told me it was becomign a problem so just tohught I'd let u guys know.

had the same problem i think they replaced shaft still isnt fix

how big of a job is it to replace the steering column? do they have to remove the whole dash?
