Has anyone else have the silver and chrome half of the there shifter break off? I am thinking of replacing the shifter with a short throw from TWM any opinions?

Get the TWM shifter its worth every penny and not difficult to install. Here's what it looks like with a different knob I bought seperately.

is it just me ? coz that shifter looks like its installed backwards

 

I had the same momo shift *** on my vibe I know its backwards

 

The top cap part of mine just popped off this morning. I was pretty pissed.

However, I have to take her in tomorrow to get it serviced and fix the wheel mounted audio controls so I'm sure they'll get it sorted out then.

 

thats nuts bring that **** to the dealer...

 

aha, its true... Though I had the same shifter, it feels alot better backwards (feels different, and better)

 

The thing in my cupholder is my Serius satelite radio receiver. The shifter, wether it's backwards or not feels great the way I have it.

 

Moved to problems and service.
