strange clunk

ok so maybe it's more of a clack sound. I hear it when I am in gear, usually around 2-3500 rpms, and its only when I tap the gas pedal. I was originally thinking clutch, but it can't be because it's not slipping when I punch it. any ideas or similar experiences?

I just had my tranny replaced and it did that going to second and gave it gas. They said the bearings were worn out. Slighty different from your issue but may be the same thing.

I'm not sure if you mean wheel bearings, but if so then maybe I should change the hubs. As for the mounts, I put some ottp tranny mounts so it's not that. I do keep cracking my flex pipe, it's not the original one either.

any help?

There are bearings in the tranny. If your wheel bearings are bad it would be a constant vibration sound. But now that you mention it, it could be the flex pipe. Others on here say the gm flex pipe is garbage and will constantly break.
