Unhappy Stressing out:/

My halos are like 4 months old been in about 2 and the passenger side one works awesome minus the fluttering from the hids
and my drivers side one is just a pos............. the middle led socket blows bulbs and now one of the halo rings just went out dont know if its blown or maybe a ground. and my trunk open alarm goes on and off every 15 seconds:/ and to make matters worse i own no tools because my jagaloon dad took em in the divorce. so can somebody maybe diagnose this or give me suggestions?

o and i have a leak in a gasket and the dealership is being a pain in the ass about fixing it.

Never heard of that company, buyhids.com is the vendor of choice on here you can pm mkhurley? I think that's his name if you need a new kit or another member on here that does wonderful work with our headlights is streeetracingasian or something like that. For the flickering do you have your hids hooked up to a relay? And for ground problems you'll need a multimeter to do some continuity testing? And for the valvecover gasket I'd get a new one from another vendor of choice on here crateenginedepot.com

and I know nothing about headlights and what not. one time the halos quit working but it was a ground issue and they suddenly worked after we fixed it but idk why oonly one would be off.

ur problem lies in buying cheap halos... unfortunately. ur best bet would be to use stock headlights and make some retrofits out of them. they have the best light output and also look the best IMO and if you do them correctly they result in the least amount of problems.

Because different sides each have a different connection. If one is loose or open or shorting you'll have problems. Or the halo could have just burnt out. Aftermarket parts don't always have oem reliability.

if the halo went out it's out and u'd need a new halo. like i said i'd just reccomend getting a set of retrofits. I've had almost every set of aftermarket halos and sent them all back because they turned out to be crap. stick with stockers and HID's in them, or retrofits. I go to Lincoln Tech.
