stundering wipers PLEASE HELP!!!!!

what the heck is up with my windsheld wipers? I got my car new at the new of 2006 and every time it rains the driver side wiper studers and jumps and just does not wipe smooth. Sometimes its better then others but it doesn't matter if its raining hard or soft I've tried using rainX and that made it worst. I've put new wipers and that olny works for about one rain or so. And its just about to drive me craze. It is really getting to me and the studering is bad you cant even stand to drive the car. I do keep my car very clean I try to hand wash once a week if I can, and I do wax once or so a year. LIke I've said I have tried EVERYTHING to fix this and cant seem to make anything keep this promble from coming back. Someone please help me fix this or tell me that there is something to do about it. thanks

I had the same problem. What I did was clean the glass with denatured alcohol. Put it on and let it haze then wipe off. Repeat again. It cured my problem.

it is possible the wiper arm itself could be bent. that happened on my grand prix and it drove me nuts. try that.

Replace the blade, the rubber is probably dried out and causing it to skip across the windshield.

My passenger side wiper does this but only when there's not a lot of water on the windshield. It is quite annoying, sometimes if I'm going down the highway I don't even use my wipers.

To the op....as pointed out above, make sure you have the windshield very clean, no wax or other stuff on the glass. Same for the blades, give them a rub down with rubbing alcohol. Get a decent set of blades, the $1.99 ones are not worth the package they are in.
I put a set of reflex blades (Canadian Tire) on, and while they cost a bit (about $30.00 for 2 iirc) they actually work pretty well.

Don't know if there are any adjustments for the tension on the wiper arm (my 535 has a screw that lets you adjust tension) but a little "brute force" adjustment may help.

I just got some bosch EVO's or icon they are the same thing, they were like $18 each, the best ones at autozone, they work great ONE TIME

If there isn't enough water on the window it will chatter as well if its cold enough out.

just use rain x and dont use your wipers thats what i do and i dont ever use my wipers most of the time so they last longer and dont wear out!!

I have the Icons on my car and have had them for almost a year. Great blade, hasn't failed me yet.

exactly. u can replace all the blades u want, its most likely your actual arm though, not the blade. i kno my drivers side drives me ******* crazy. over 75% of the time i use my wipers it likes to be a bitch and not run smoothly. i dont have any problems with the passenger side though.
