Yeah, they're going to replace the framing around the button itself, but the stinking thing just doesn't want to retract the sunroof half of the time. other than that, the car has been excellent, but I hate having to press the button about 3 or 4 times to get it to pull back.

Any solutions? I got inside of the button, but I had never seen anything like it before. It was just a lever with a spring on the end of it and a plastic black nipple on the spring.

yeah it sucks. U have to adjust it urself by bending the flaps down. GM really could of done a better job in the compartment.

Check our How-To section for two articles are this issue. It is a common problem, and easily fixed. I wrote one of the two articles that you will find.

Are you sure you're pushing it all the way? The button has two settings when opening the glass, one just tilts it, the other pulls it back to open up completely. If the button is held between the settings nothing will happen.

I've had my bezel replaced 3 times at the dealer. The 4th time it fell off I gorilla-glued the pos. Hasn't fallen since.

There is a TSB for this issue and as long as you are still under warranty, they will fix it for free.
