Just seeing how many people had this broken sunroof problem....

I was driving down Main St. W. in Hamilton Ont. at 9:30pm at night there was no other cars around when suddenly I heard a bang...I pull over and found the sunroof shattered. The roof was bowed out like a bubble. I am so I go too GM and the Tech for customer service at GM Canada said a rock hit the roof...I said BS and I found out other people had this problem....Did you guys get it fixed under warrenty? Thanx for you help Colin

 

Well get ready to sit around and wait for your Cobalt SS for awhile. Those parts are on backorder like you wouldn't believe. Make sure they give you a retial car...

Well my sunroof glass itself didnt break but the sunroof frame broke and yeah they are on backorder like you wouldnt believe.

 

Pls post in problems/service.

All sunroof issues are under warranty but as others stated, prepare to wait.

 

Still having a problem with GM Canada....They are looking into the sunroof problem in the US and are getting back too me tomorrow....I will let you know?

Sorry to hear, it has concerned me when I close the door the seal is pretty tight all around and I can watch my sunroof push up when the door closes. Hopes for good luck! Carefull closing your doors to hard.
