Honestly I don't know whether they can tell if a PCM's been swapped.
As long as you have the right vin on there I don't think they can.

But people are right, they can tell if you reflash the pcm past the stage 2 then back again...there's a counter of some sort. Who knows if they say anything, it's upto the dealer, but I'd assume they're going to get data from the pcm to diagnose what's wrong and when they do...it's billing time.

Yeah, deff something is in the blower in the rotors if you can't turn the pulley no matter what. Shouldn't be a biggie though honestly. I'd just take the s/c off and check it out, not that big of a deal and s/c oil from gm is only $10-20 a bottle.

Your charger is alot easier to disassemble because its not 1 piece like my m45.

i see all kinds of knicks and scratch marks inside the blower and all over the throttle body. and there is nothing wrong with my filter. i dont understand what could have gotten inside of the blower like that. unless the senser fell apart. that would be the only way

Well honestly, take the blower off, get the peices out and put it back together. I had this happen to a friend and his meth nozzle somehow broke off and luckily it go into the rotors and not the motor and even with scuffs on the rotors it ran perfect.

They say that any knicks on the rotors will cause problems but in my experience's i haven't noticed any difference from my buddy's car since we sanded down the rotors real well, note the m45 rotors don't have teflon coating so im not sure about the m62

Honda Updates the Odyssey in the US; New Variable Cylinder Management System

The new 2008 Honda Odyssey minivan has gone on sale in the US. The updated Odyssey receives new exterior styling along with a more fuel-efficient version of the available Variable Cylinder Management (VCM) i-VTEC V-6 engine.
Based on the model, two engine choices exist. The 3.5-liter, all-aluminum, SOHC VTEC engine on the Odyssey LX and EX produces 244 hp (182 kW) at 5,750 rpm and 240 lb-ft (325 Nm) of torque at 5000 rpm. The Odyssey LX and EX models achieve an EPA-rated city/highway fuel economy of 16/23 mpg (EPA 2008 methodology).

Literally...sounds like you got rocks in a can Did part of your intake filter break off or what? You need to pull the rotors to check out what's going on.

if they have the capabilities, it will show re-writes always. But honestly, i used to work for GM, and if there are no codes in the computer, they wont even bother looking into the pcm any further. Just bring the car in, and tell them something is wrong with the s/c because it won't spin, and I doubt they will even look into the pcm with their computers.

thats what i was planning on doing. i think i might take it apart and look into it myself. if i cant find anything wrong with it then i am going to bring it to gm. the dealership i use, they are complete idiots. they dont use torque wrenches to tighten things properly. they use impacts. i know this bc of the clutch and the s/c pulley they used both of them needed impacts and air chisels to get bolts off.

now i have another problem. its one thing after the other. the body shop took the belt off the car to drive it around, and now it comes back today and the belt tentioner is broke into 2 pieces. you can see where the idler pulley has some marks on it that i know wasnt there. and the body shop denies breaking the tentioner. if i would have broke something on it i dont mind buying the part again but when a professional breaks something and i still gotta come out of pocket, thats when i get pissed.

Broke it trying to depress it with something other than an open end wrench...probably used a pry bar or something...hammer em! At least it's a relatively cheap part...under 100 bucks.

**** dude...you are surrounded by douchebag mechanics. First off, why did the autobody shop even touch the tensioner for body work? Second, they broke it they need to replace it.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Cobal...spagenameZWDVW

Shitty condition though.

ZZP one is different but the tensioner pulley you have should still be okay even if it's semi gouged as long as the belt sits properly.
