the detailers for the dealership might get paid by the car. so they buff and wax it and dont take the time they should and it looks like ****.
my BLACK SS/SC is bad just bc its black. but a good buff with a foam pad and good wax should do the trick.

Well, they have it overnight.. They pretty much tried to tell my they are normal and they often come like that. They pulled a brand new black ZO6 next to my car and showed me the swirls in it... They said all they can do it clay bar it, zaino, and put a sealer on it. He told my they probably wouldn't perfect... So... Just what I expected really..

They gave me a Malibu with 4 miles on it to drive..

I would get the mothers 3 step system plus clay bar. I had some swirls and light scratches and that got rid of almost all of them and that bitch shined like no other lol. Do not take it back to the dealership they'll only **** it up worse man trust me.

The clay bar will not remove swirls. The second step in the Mothers system(Sealer/Glaze) will.. Ive used the Mother 3 step system minus the clay bar and it works really well

no clue thats what step 1 and 2 are for. the clay is to remove dirt and give you a clean surface to then apply your sealer and wax. The mother's system is very good I hear meguirs is also good.

Yes. You just get more swirls as you drive and wash. It's never ending!

Well.. I got it back from the dealer Friday.. it looked pretty good while I was there.. didn't catch any marks under the florescent lights.... I washed the bugs off after some highway driving, and today in the sunlight I noticed it was just covered swirl marks.. I guess I will just live with it and keep it waxed well. Every red car I looked at in the last couple days is covered in marks. Something I will have to learn to live with. I'm just a tad too ****.

It's overwhelming at first, but you would be amazed at how easy it is to buff those out.
