Hey so a couple of days ago I was driving my car and did a no lift **** from 2 to 3 gear after that may car powered down to like 4 rpm even though my foot was still on the gas then my CEL started flashing but went away I call onstar they said it was a misfire in cylinder 1 and 3 but since the light went away I decided not to worry about it, I tried it a couple of times after and it was fine. Anyway so today I did the same no lift from 2-3 and it happened again this time the light stayed on so I went to the dealership he looked at the code said it was a misfire and said there was a post from GM saying that if the gas tank is not half full or more a missfire could happen due to gas "slosshing" making fuel not go into injectors but that seems weird to me do you guys think it could be something else??? thanks for the info by the way I filled that tank up and has been fine so far

 

That sounds pretty weird i hope mine never does that.

 

ya it was wierd it only has 5600 miles on so im not sure what the deal is hopefully it does not happen again
