Throwing a boat load of codes.

So sick and tired of this view:

Today, I went a little WOT and hit some gravel which cause me to RED LINE, RED LINE, RED LINE - a lot. Afterwards, the car shut down into Reduced Engine Mode and won't start. These are the codes that are being thrown as a result:

I went ahead and swapped the TB out under warranty since I just replaced it three months ago. So, the TPS is not the problem.

I'm thinking that the ECM (which I also replaced with a used about 4 months ago) has gone to sh^t already. My only basis for this assumption is the sheer number of random codes being thrown related to electrical. I checked all fuses, the only other thing I could imagine it would be is a relay.

What do you guys think the problem is?

Sure is. The inlet pressure sensor.

Ok, I wasn't sure if you knew that since on your reader it didn't clarify that. Have you had the ECU reflashed?

I had it flashed when it was put in. But not since it broke down - are you recommending flashing it again?

To me that's a tough one. I would replace the couple of sensors that are throwing codes and if that doesn't work then maybe you could try for a reflash.

I just feel that there's no way that all of these sensors went bad all at the same time. There just has to be a common problem causing the car to think everything is wrong.

Yea, I cleared the codes - they come back RIGHT after clearing though. Even before starting the car again. But, clearing them didn't help. It went right back into REP mode.

Damn. I'm trying to like this is my problem and I would hate to pay for a reflash and still have these problems but I would hate to replace all of these sensors when a reflash could have fixed it. Did you have these same problems with the last ECU?

Definitely had similar problems with the last ECU. It never threw all of these codes like crazy, but I definitely got plenty of REP mode. The ECU is under warranty from the shop - I just don't want to go barking at them if it wasn't their fault, ya know. $150 flash is going to be much cheaper than the 4 sensors it's complaining about too. All of the signs to me, point to the ECU. I don't know where Chevy got this idea for REP mode - bit it's effin retarded.

I'm out in the garage now resetting the ECU by unhooking the battery.. Figured it was worth a try just in case my scanner is being funky.

That's good that it's under warranty but if you got it used then it might be worth a shot trying to get it replaced. After all, no need to spend money if it isn't necessary.

That's the truth. The reset didn't work.. But strangely enough, I'm now only throwing codes for the TPS and the Inlet Sensor.

As per:

https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/problems-service-maintenance-69/crankshaft-position-sensor-car-died-no-start-54807/

I replaced my crankshaft position sensor. It didn't fix the issue. I'm still throwing all of the codes for the sensors including the CPS. WTF is going on here?

Thanks for all of the help - no one!

Got the car running. The problem was the CPS, then my ECU plugs were loose.
