Traction control, cruise control, auto locks not working
Traction control, cruise control, auto locks not working
2006 SS with 2.4L and an auto.
Does not have traction control (but light is not on), cruise control will not engage, and auto locks will not work when taken out of park. Also, whenever I step on the brakes the Park lock will click in the shifter, making me think that it is all related to a switch that is not letting the car know that it is out of park. Drive, Reverse and Neutral are all the same, but the lower gears do not shift (no downshifting).
Anyone have any idea? It happens intermittently (last winter, once in January and now again). Where would the shift/parkswitch be located, the shifter or on the tranny?
Thanks

All my controls work on the wheel except I cannot get 'cruise engaged' to come up on the info panel (and cruise control does not engage). I even get the little light on the cruise on/off button when I push it.
The real odd thing is that I can spin the tires (no traction control in any gear and it doesn't flash low traction) but the orange light never illuminates.
