Trouble with key remote

I've been having trouble for quite some time with key remotes not working for my car, i have two sets which for several months didnt work properly, they would not unlock until i pressed the button 5-10 times, possibly more, lately however; they have stopped working altogether, we had the battery replaced in one set, but within a week it was not working properly again, i don't think i have done anything to damage the remote, so i was wondering if the sensor in my car could be broken, let me know if you know of/have this same problem.
thanks!

ive had the same prob, theres prob the solder broken inside, open it, fold a piece of small cardboard or thick paper, place in the middle of the batt (make sure the paper is larger than the battery) position good, snap back on, whablam, fixed, u can test if thats it or not byu taking the back off and pressing the two sides that hold the battery in with ur fingers, and hit the button, dont worry it wont shock u, if it works, try the paper methid, ive done it to mine

Had the same issue man, replaced the rubber button pad and it started working like it was brand new, cause over time the rubber pad formed to the contacts on the board, and it wasn't triggering the remote replace the pad and I promise you it will work

I had a third remote but you can buy new fobs just for the pads on eBay for dirt price
