"Trunk Ajar" but its not

"Trunk Ajar" but its not
hey guys,
washed my car last night and went to sleep. my car alarm went off about 4 times last night and when i unlock my car it honks 3 times.
i get in the car, start it, and it says the trunk is ajar. so i think no big deal since i used it last night. so i opened at closed it (it was locked) and it still says its ajar. i tried like 4 times to make it so its closed but it didnt work.
is there a sensor that might need replaced?
