Exclamation trunk button wont work???!?!?!?!!??!?!

I tried opening my trunk with the button on the key fob, i held it down, my lights blinked but the truck never actually "popped" open. I kept trying and the lights blink like they are supposed to but the trunk wont pop. I even tried using the button on the inside of the car...wont work!!!! Does anyone know what this could be or how to fix this???

can your remote/fob open the trunk? if so then the button electronics are messed up. If not..then the trunk popper device in the trunk is messed up

both buttons dont work. The mechanism on the trunk latch is the issue, the wiring too that, the fuse or the controller board thingy.
