Trunk Release button not working and Cig. Lighter

i took off the little compartment where the trunk release is, and everything is still hooked up, but its not poppin the trunk open. its an electric release right? so im thinking it has something to do with me blowing a fuse or something... because my cig lighter isnt working, is there only 1 fuse under the hood for both lighters?? becuz i checked and only found one fuse, so one lighter works and the other one still does not.. im puzzled, any input i would appreciate.

Now this may be hard to believe, but it sounds like your trunk fuse is blown

there is another small fuse box in the cabin, on the driver's side, I've seen it in the manual, just can't for the life of me remember exactly where it is.

there we go, I knew there was an interior one, thought it was on the ds, ah well, I was close lol.

Just curious, did you try to open the trunk with the key fob to see if it works at all?

Check the trunk fuse in the underhood fuse block.
