Valve stem snapped...
What... The... ****... That's what I said while trying to get my valve stem caps off.. they were like corroded on. Anyway, after trying for a bit the whole thing snapped in half and now all the air is spilling out of my tire. What am I going to have to do to get this fixed? I assume I can't use a regular valve stem due to the TPS, right?
Tire has to be taken to a tire shop etc to have a new valve stem put in. You can't replace it without taking the tire off the rim, which you can't do without a tire machine. They will prollcharge u around 15-20 bucks.
haha warranty wont cover that just take to a tire store when i got new rims i hada buy new tpms sensors but last time i went to get new tires i didnt have to so they might be able to save them just go down or call and ask
actualy it does in some cases. idk about his tho. discount tire has new ones cheaper too i think

if you get a pep boys discount or points card. i forgot what they call it but you get free tire plugs, balance, stems etc... u just have to let them do it and wait a hour lol. idk the places i drive i have a nail in a tire at least once every 6 months... i swear there is magnets on my wheels because i even avoide gravel n such. no the stem is part of the sensor and can not be replaced individually. if it were the rubber ones then yes they can be replaced individually and as others have said as long as its the stock valve stem cap it will be covered under warranty. i can't even count how many i've replaced under warranty.

Anyone have a close up picture of what the stock caps look like?

you have the rubber ones or the metal ones. the ones you posted are the stock rubber valve stems but they have the "chrome" covers on them which are not stock, also those valve stem caps aren't stock in the link either.
