i just got a weird frickin phone call saying some bull about my warranty being canceled...wtf? i'm thinking it was some sort of scam, cuz they didn't mention one thing gm related...and don't worry i didnt give any info on me.

so what i'm wondering, could this be true???

Could also be a scam company calling trying to sell you an extended warranty.

 

those calls are there for you to go buy new warrenty

But uh, yeah...that's just a telemarketing call. Sometimes it seems that GM makes more money selling your info than to do selling cars.

 

i get thos calls all the time and so do other people its a scam

 

Many people around the country complaining about calls like that, many have never even owned a car like my 15 year old daughter. Oh yeah and they also want her to refinance her mortage.

 

Put all your numbers on the Do Not Call list. I couldn't tell you the last time I've had a telemarketer call me.

 

I've love to get a warranty on my 1989 truck!!

 

I get the calls saying "This is your second notice that the factory warrenty on your vechile is about to expire." And I have 20k miles, I'd say scam.

 

I get those calls a lot, and always press the number to take me to an operator. When they ask "Can you verify the make and model?" I say "You tell me, you called." They usually just hang up. I actually get excited when they call me, it's pretty fun.
