Warranty Question

Ok i have a couple of questions. I have an 06 ss\sc still under warranty but i just got a clutch master stage 2 and fidanza flywheel installed not at the dealer. Is that voided my warranty from everything else or just for transmission? If i wanna get stage 2 kit have it done by the dealer are they going to check the transmission or will the pcm just say that the clutch has been changed or something. Or should i say **** the warranty and get an ott stage 1.

It wont hurt your warranty unless they can prove whatever you did caused it, I really dont know what would happen with that they could blame on a clutch though...

If you still have allot of warranty id honestly get stage 2, If not id get OTT stage one.

But even if you do get the ott kit they cant void your warranty, They would just have to prove whatever the problem was is caused by the smaller pulley/injectors/tune

Yep the header is visable , the clutch isn't . I really doubt they would give you trouble about the clutch , the header and new cat they can be dicks about.

They can't and won't void the warranty as a whole for simple bolt-ons. The worst they can do is claim your stuff caused the problem and reject service, but that varies from dealer to dealer. If you have a lot of warranty the GMS2 is a good idea, otherwise I'd go with OTTP.

this is why i said what i said earlier

i highly doubt that it was proven to be true but i saw a youtube vid, guy had an obvious rod knock and the gm dealership said his gm performance mufler voided the warrenty. they said it affected too much of the exuast pressure
