Unhappy wasted today installing header/dp

so not only did I not get it fully installed, a bolt broke on the dp/exhaust connection. the bolt studs on the new header and the nuts wouldnt cooperate so now instead of hearing my exhaust, I hear the sound of exhaust from the dp/header connection. stupid bolts. oh well the shop opens at 7am tomorrow.

Hopefully you don't get harassed by the clowns before you get it fixed.

Might be able to use a punch to get it out.

One thing I've learned from working on these cars, from LSJ's to L61's to LNF's always always have at least 1 extra bolt/nut combo ordered and on hand. Also left hand drill bits are a life saver

yeah man those things were nasty. the bolts on the exhaust/dp wouldnt budge at all but the ones on the header/engine came out easier.

ohh!! I found a nasty crack in some part under the car. I didnt have my phone to get a pic of it. it looks like a bar with some kind of end on it in the centerish under the car.

I put my badmab on with stock downpipe, no bolts broke, probably cause low miles, but yes it is a pain in the ass. Then today was a big disappointment , put on my new ac lines on, and turnout my ac condenser has a hole in it! Im spending so much money on my car this month. ( probably already $500 ) with the new ac condenser I have to buy.
