water on driver foot while driving

Ok story time,
Temp 95+ humidity is high. Driving on hwy @ 80mph with windows down, sunroof open. Starts to downpour so I close windows/roof and turn AC on. I feel a drop or 3 of water on my toe (sandals). Look down and yes there is a little bit if water on the side console plastic and a couple drops on my toe. Felt like if I slammed on brakes hard water would drip a couple more. Pulled over for food and looked down water was pretty much dried up. Didn't leak anymore. Got home (hour later), was 85 degrees, turned AC on and let it sit, no water drip.

Anyone have this issue? thinking it was condensation but.....want to make sure. Mine is a 2009 SS, never seen winter, 23k miles.

Great a love hate relationship growing from sunroof

How do you "unplug" the drains? Are there holes if the sun roof is open in the 2 front corners of the roof? take headliner out?

My old car flooded the passenger side floor when the drain tubes for the AC condenser plugged. Don't know how they fixed it, I just took it to the dealer...

I was gonna say check the a/c condensate drain, I know in my parent's Ford Edge it's gotten blocked a few times, drains into the driver's floor mat.

As your Cobalt is a 2009, and is under 36,000 miles, you may very well still be within your Bumper to Bumper Warranty and could get this looked into. If you would like for me to check the time expiration on your warranties, please send me a private message with the last 8 digits of your VIN.

Kind regards,
Sarah
