Red face What is this clip ?

Hello,

so my clutch pedal has been hanging up in the air in my redline, and I looked today and it appears that the white clip that holds the rod to the pedal is broken, hence the pedal is not staying down where it is supposed to be, the car shifts great with no issues.

Anyways here is a picture I found during the research I did, it is the white clip where the rod connects, I couldn't find a part number for it or anything. I am really hoping I don't have to buy a pedal for this small part.

You should be able to just order the clip, best bet is to go to a dealer and get the parts guy to look up the exploded view of the pedal assembly.

After I did more research on this, I found out that the ions uses a different style Master Cylinder that comes with the clip already attached on its end "looks like a ball "

I think the previous owner may have swapped either the master cylinder out or the clutch pedal assembly out, only way for me to find out is to look at the cylinder from the engine bay to tell.

I will be checking with my local dealer on Monday.
