What should i do???
I was recently driving my 06 2.2l balt lt (auto) around town and heard a water sloshing noise from behind my glove box. There is no leak inside the car!! When I took it to the dealer they told me it might be an air bubble in the radiator, well they tried for days to try and fix it but it was still there. They then realized that my head gasket was blown!!! My balt has just 12,056 miles on it, can this happen already? I do drive it hard, but should that happen so quickly? I did notice one day a few months ago, that the engine coolant level was at 300. Drove on that temp for 'bout ten minutes, could that have started this???(Had to have radiator replaced)

it is down at the dealer now, I think they want insurance to do it for them???
The 300 was from the radiator being hit on a rock or something at night, i should have stopped, but kept driving then noticed coolant

unless this was the result of an accident (possible reason for radiator replacement) this is going to labeled as a warranty issue or a case of dealership claiming owner abuse. No insurance company will pay for a head gasket for no good reason

my dealer swears i hate my car, but i don't this month.

btw. they had to replace my rear main seal on june 2, 2008. it was leaking oil; and two weeks before, my engine and tranny oil pans were leaking too.

wow! If i personally was fixing a car at my dealership with these issues at such low mileage i would be begging the service manager to condemn it as a lemon. Both to save your ass and mine because warranty work sux soo hard!

As far as hiring people off of the streets...not so much as they did in the past. It seems that in the last 5 yrs high schools are pushing everyone to become mechanics for whatever reason. We are currently flooded with applications and sadly there isn't a place that can hire them even after they spent $18,000+ on college education. But as far as getting a good technician working on your vehicle when you bring it in, no matter where you go there will be the good and the bad.

this thread is starting to get off topic, but does anyone want my car???? 2 door, LT, blue granite metallic with 17" Enkei PKR rims (also have original 15") and black halo projectors(have originals), and pioneer head unit with iPod & sirius satellite radio(have original head too)? 12,000 miles and price
I wish that people like you worked down here. They are the worst service I have ever had. Can I go to my Pontiac dealer to have my car serviced since they are both owned by the same company here??? They are great there that is also the GMC dealer and my mom's envoy was serviced there and again, they are great!!!????
