They're really bad right now, yes...but they weren't bad at all until probably April of this year. So yeah, almost 2 years. I'm really picky about my windshield being clean too and these wipers were still working very well after 22-ish months of use. But I'm ready for new blades now. (Even though I *still* haven't gotten somewhere to pick them up yet.) Thanks for the help guys

Oh, I know what you mean about being picky about a clean windshield! I go through a bottle of fluid a month in the summer!!! You'll be fine with the cheap blades at Walmart, they are like $2.68 a piece. If you change them every 4-6 months, you'll have no problem!

Glad to help out another PA native (esp a really cute one )...I'm orignally from near Scranton...

Personally I avoid using rubber wipers. Silicone ones work better, last longer, and won't deteriorate nearly as fast. Cost more though. I have used PIAA Super Silicone in my vehicles for a long time.

If your original ones on the car worked so good for so long why not go to gm dealership and get another exact same pair??? Just a thought.

I agree totally! However, my dad is insistent that I get such and such a brand of wipers now. (I don't even remember what brand.) They're his favs and he's even going to pay for them if I get that brand. Soo...I'm going with the free wipers.

So I would not pass up free wipers either. But just to let you know I bought some valeo's for myself and my dad's camry right after I posted that message. So far they are doing the job nicely. This is the most amount of rain I have seen in Florida in quite a few years.
